Nata a Bologna, vive e lavora a Sasso Marconi (BO)

Autodidatta, ha iniziato giovanissima, con l’incoraggiamento del prof. Italo Cinti, ad accostarsi alla pittura ad olio, avendo come maestra la “bella pittura” dei grandi musei del mondo.

Con l’insegnamento del prof. Cesare Pacitti apprende la tecnica incisoria dell’acquaforte, da cui trae la capacità per il rigore del “segno” e il valore delle “sfumature” nel bianco-nero delle innumerevoli morsure.

Continua, con passione e tenacia, la personale ricerca tecnica ed espressiva della pittura ad olio e lo studio del colore, rivisitando con un gusto attuale venato di intenso intimismo, la più pura linea realistico–magica  del primo Novecento italiano.

Attraversando l’atmosfera onirica della stagione metafisica e surrealista, il suo percorso pittorico si esprime in maniera personalissima rimanendo strettamente legato al mondo della fiaba e dell’infanzia come a quello del sogno.

 

Born in Bologna, she lives and works in Sasso Marconi (Bologna - Italy)

Self-taught woman, she started very young to approach to oil painting, having the "beautiful painting" of the great museums of the world as a teacher.

With passion and determination, she goes on with her personal technical and expressive research of the oil painting and with the study of the color, looking, with a modern taste tinged with intense emotionalism, at the purest Italian realistic-magical line of the beginning of the twentieth century.

Meanwhile, she also studies the engraving technique of the etching, from which she learns the rigor of the "sign" and the value of the "nuances" into the black and white countless corrosions.

Crossing the dreamlike atmosphere of the metaphysics and surrealism, her pictorial journey is expressed in a very personal way, remaining closely tied to the world of the fairy tales and childhood as well as to the world of the dream.
